Situated on a dramatic promontory along the South Rim's Hermit Road, this viewpoint offers visitors a sweeping, nearly 270-degree panoramic view of the inner canyon, similar to its neighbor, Hopi Point, but with typically fewer crowds.

What You Will See

From this vantage point, you'll see massive buttes and temples like Isis Temple and Cheops Pyramid, as well as glimpses of the Colorado River winding far below.

Approximately 9.5 miles from Red Feather Lodge. Allow at least 3-4 hours to see the viewpoints along Hermit Road.

Good to Know Before You Go

Viewpoint is only accessible by shuttle bus, walking or biking from March thru October. Last shuttle typically leaves about 30-60 minutes after sunset. Drive your vehicle to the viewpoint from November - February (weather permitting).
