Pros: Great location. Comfortable and spa-like showers.

Cons: No continental breakfast.

This hotel was great! Conveniently located right outside the Grand Canyon. We only stayed here one night, but it sure felt great to take a shower after driving for over 6 hours. The shower had great water pressure, unlike a lot of other hotels we stayed in. The beds were also very comfortable.

Pros: location - comfort - quality

Cons: price - not the friendliest staff

This is a very nice place to stay. Rooms were large, beds were wonderfully comfortable, good sized bathroom, nice pool area. The location is great! Especially if you are taking a trip and need to go to the airport, it is only a mile away. After hearing comments about people staying in Grand Canyon Village and how they were not happy with the quality of the rooms and the price, we were happy we chose the Red Feather. The only negative comments I might make is the front desk people were a little aloof.Helpful but not warm and friendly. And this is not a cheap place to stay but cheaper than GCVillage and you have to consider the location.

Pros: Clean, enough towels, blackout curtains, good continental breakfast, friendly-helpful staff

Cons: No in-room microwave oven or fridge, no local restaurant information

The staff were all friendly and helpful from booking, to confirming, to answering questions about the park and local offerings. Room was clean (3106) and tidy. Nice place to stay. Would definitely book here again, all other things being equal. We stayed for three nights. Squire Inn (about a half-block South of Red Feather) has a good prime rib dinner buffet for a decent price for Tusayan, AZ. That seems to have been the best kept secret in town. It was the same price as the Rib Eye dinner at the Tusayan Restaurant in the old part of the Red Feather Lodge ($16.95) and just more than the lasagna at the Spaghetti Western restaurant ($13.95) and less than most pizzas at either pizzaria, so you might want to go to Squire Inn for at least one of your evening meals if you stay in Tusayan for long. Squire inn also had a regular prime rib dinner for $12.95. Red Feather Lodge is within easy walking distance of anyplace in Tusayan, from what I could see.

Cons: Needs better internet signal

Stayed here 4 nights. Not new or fancy but staff are friendly, there is a fridge & microwave in the room & the hotel is in a great location. Only increased internet & room service would make it better.

Pros: Everything was OK !

Cons: Can`t think of anything !

Stayed for two days in March 09 in the main part of the Hotel (No smoking or pets in these rooms) everything was fine and very clean. The staff here were the best of all the Five hotels we stayed in on this holiday. We hope to return to the Grand Canyon, when we do we will book in here again for sure.

Pros: Staff, staff, staff - whatever you are doing, it shows

Cons: Watch out: The hot water is REALLY hot

I came in the off-season to enjoy the park. The rooms were clean and neat. The staff was friendly, helpful. They have a great pet policy. It was nice enough that I stayed an extra night. Wish all reasonable hotels were run this way.
